Week two 2023
What is going on y’all? New year week two. It hasn’t been that long since we last connected so I’m just going to jump right into the business of the day. Now I don’t plan on writing a blog for every week of the year. Especially when I start dropping instrumentals, but I did have some thoughts this week and I wanted write them down and get them out there. So that’s what I am going to do. First off, the weather is one of my interests I like talking about it. I keep hearing about how crazy it’s supposed to get out here in cali. I keep reading these heavy sounding buzz words like “atmospheric river” and “bomb cyclone”. I like that they are cool sounding words that I can put into the lyrics of a song. But from my perspective it really hasn’t been all that bad and I work outside. Either driving in or directly exposed to the elements. The news is telling me I’m under a flooding warning when it hasn’t even rained in two days. I find it absurd that they say San Francisco is under a flood warning. I mean have you been to San Francisco? The whole city is pretty much a giant inline that drains directly in to the bay. Even in the mountains it’s not that crazy. The highways are still open. City people are still chaining up their tires and driving over the pass to go skiing and snowboarding in Tahoe for the long weekend. The weather has been a little bit wet and wild and people are freaking out because it’s raining but it is winter time people. I know your not use to it but I’ve lived out here a long time and it used to rain all the time. It just stopped for a while for whatever reason. For the last few years when I’m on the road all I see are billboards and banners that say pray for rain. Well ask and you shall receive. If you pray for something with good intentions and an honest heart it will manifest. If a lot of people pray for something it will definitely manifest itself into reality. Besides that, the weather really hasn’t been too out of the ordinary. Hail storms are not usual in the city of treez and a tornado will touch down like once or twice a year in the rural flat areas of town. Some trees and power lines got knocked down but no big deal. Just take the proper safety precautions. Where they did get hit pretty hard was on the central coast and in the central valley. Some of that was an infrastructure issue like in Santa Barbara County where the sewers got backed up. Santa Barbara is the wealthiest county in the wealthiest state in the wealthiest country in the world. I should know I was born there 20 minutes away from Neverland Ranch. So, you guys probably want to get those infrastructure issues taken of. If you choose to live right on the coast or the lowlands you are susceptible to flooding. You know the risk so plan according. Locally in my neighborhood where I currently live in Hollyhood, CA. Mr. In the Club himself 50 cent made an appearance at the grocery store yesterday literally within walking distance of my home. I thought about going up there but as much as I would like to meet Curtis Jackson. Who I do consider to be an entertainment mogul. I wasn’t going to go battle the crowd of groupies to buy a bottle cognac that I’m not going drink to meet him. When I did drink hard liquor which I do not at all anymore. I didn’t drink brown liquor yuk! I used to drink gin and juice maybe vodka if it was free. Getting back to Fifty he has been very opportunistic in his business endeavors but not in the negative connotation of the word. I can’t speak on some the antics he engages in for publicity. I personally don’t pay attention to that kind of stuff. I don’t consume a lot of the media he produces due to the fact that I don’t feel like it’s going to teach me anything or help me better my life. But that’s ok because there are lots of other people who do enjoy it and to each his or her own. He is successful and well connected. He has made some tunes that inspire happiness and joy in a lot of people. My favorite line of his is: “Have a baby by me baby and become a millionaire, I’ll write the check before the baby comes who the f*** cares”. Anyhow since I didn’t get to so I didn’t get to say this to him in person I’ll say here. WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!!!! Yeeeeeee!!! Let’s get down I am an asset and a creative work horse. I write, produce, mix, edit whatever the task calls for, I’m all about getting those results. Anyway, that’s it that’s all I wanted say. Moving on switching gears…….
I did want to say my piece about the man of the day. Since it is the MLK day holiday weekend. Now I’m not going to go through his whole life and list all his accolades. Since most people know them already and it will be done on lots of other media outlets on this day. What I wanted to talk about was how this individual was without question was one of those rare genius level people, that only comes around once in a generation that uplifts, elevates, and inspires all those around him. Everybody is not blessed with those abilities. So that’s why in the last blog I said that when we find those diamond in the rough individuals that the people should rally around them. Although in the context of what I speaking about different people manifest their abilities in different capacities in their own area of expertise. Someone may be gifted in mathematics, science, medicine or they may be an inventor and so many different other areas. That fact remains that these people should get all of our support because they are the ones that are truly moving civilization forward. Where would we be without people like Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton and George Washington Carver? There are so many others that deserve credit I could never begin to name them all. They are not using their talent simply for self-gain or just accumulating massive amounts of wealth just for the hell of it. I would like to note that Warren Buffet is one of those genius level investors that is accumulating a massive amount of wealth. But he doesn’t live an extraordinarily lavish lifestyle and he has commit to donate his entire 100 billion dollar or so fortune to charity upon his passing. Today we’re specifically discussing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who possessed the rare talent to communicate, reason with, inspire and motivate mass amounts of people at the same time. What really leaves an impression on me about the good Dr Reverend is that he didn’t have to do what he did. Most people are not inclined to help others if they are not affected. While he was part of the larger civil rights movement going on at the time. He didn’t have to stick his neck out like that. Because let’s be honest he could have used his speaking abilities to start a mega-church in the south. He could have collected donations from all over the world and probably lived out a very comfortable life for the rest of his days being a televangelist . But not only did he not choose the path of least resistance. He choice a path that he knew would most likely get him killed. He died a young man at only 39. It makes you think what would he have been able to accomplish if he got to live his whole life out. When you are a genuine man of faith with a deep spiritual connection to the universe you know that this world and life is not all there is. You know that there is much more to it than that and even death is Not the final chapter. Because there is No final chapter the saga continues. This world is just a prelude to a greater reality. These are my thoughts for K-day. I will spend this holiday the way I spend every holiday working on music. Switching gears……….
A few post ago I reached out with the Force to connect with those who got and understood my message. I wanted to show my appreciation because I was pleasantly surprised have some people respond to me through the Force. They sent me messages of compassion and encouragement. Somehow, they knew that their messages in a bottle would reach me as I knew that my message would reach them. Do you know what feels better than reaching a massive amount of people? Reaching the actual specific ones that you want to connect with and collaborate with in the near future. To speak clearly like I said before those live human connections even across great distances are some of the best experiences in life you could ever ask for. It’s very encouraging to be in the loop with other creative minds who get and understand you. There work inspires me and it is such an amazing feeling to know that I inspire them as well even if it is just in a small way. Iron sharpens Iron so together we become better. I think that creators of my caliber do realize that in a world with an ocean of media content out there. One of the fundamentals of building not just a large following but an audience that is actually engaged is that personal touch. You can’t please everyone and I don’t even want to anyway. That’s one thing I like about having my own platform is not having to deal with the peanut gallery. So it may not be for everyone which is fine because there is something for everyone out there somewhere. As creators we have to choose our audience to a point. So if I can cater the audience that does understand me because our brains operate on similar frequencies, and if I can brighten up the day of my favorites silkys and make them smile. I am more than satisfied with those results, I’m elated. The last thing I wanted to mention was that my Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar has notified me that next week is Chinese New Year, and do you know what this year is the year of? That’s right it’s the year of the Bunny Wabbit. I cannot see how that can’t be positive sign for things to come. Y’all know rabbits are my source of power and I feel stronger already. That is it for now party people. I didn’t get to say everything I planned on talking about. I watched some movies recently that I think are worthwhile of discussing. So, we will do that on the next one.

Maybe tonight we will be together in the land of dreamz where we all live in the manor kings and queens, It’s like a new life with a slice of paradise, Where things like jealously and war don’t exist anymore, And I would get to spend every day with the Silkys that I Adore, that’s the future I envision and what I strive for =)
