So if you have been following the Dakota pipeline story you already know whats been going on. I just wanted to put my own little spin on the situation. Braving freezing cold winter weather temperatures Native American protesters and there supporters block construction on a oil pipeline that crosses very close to Native land and thru there water supply. Despite there opposition to the project developers vowed to continue with project and refused to reroute the pipe. They even went as far to attack the peaceful protesters and attempted to use measures to intimidate them. Undaunted the brave Natural Americans stayed even thru the harshest of conditions. Some stating that its even deeper then the Dakota pipeline and that's also about the rights of the Indigenous people of this country 500 years of oppression as well as the destruction of the environment of there land. When the governor of north dakota issued a eviction and threaten to arrest the protesters that prompted 2000 US army veterans come to aid the Native tribes the Army Veterans vowed to protect protesters from police. This in my view is one of finest moments in America in what is one the great battles of our generation. It renews my faith in humanity that still are good people that have the courage to stand against tyranny. I salute those soliders. I believe that was a critical point in the battle because on Sunday the army stated that it will not approve an easement necessary to permit the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline to cross under Lake Oahe. This is a victory for the good guys at least until the next administration takes office. I will say that the president elect has sold his stake in the dakota pipeline.
The fight continues but this shows us that good can triumph over evil when people unite. I've stated this before but I compare america's addiction to fossil fuel to a drug addiction. Just like a drug addict I fear we wont learn our lesson until we hit absolute rock bottom as a nation. We dont have to be slave's to the oil industry there are plenty of clean alternatives out there. but the oil and auto industries have conspired to suppress them. And 99 percent of the politicians are there puppets on a string. Dont believe a word say. If there lips are moving they're lying. So many atrocities have been committed in the name of oil. For decades it has been the policy of this government to destabilize the mid east region in order to control the resources. All these terrorist groups that exist thank your government for them they trained and armed them. Even the civil war in syria behind the scenes is about and oil pipeline that they want to build running from saudia arabia to turkey. If you look at cities like Bejing China where Industry has been allowed to expand unchallenged. They cant even go outside without a mask because the air quality is so poor. Is oil really more valuable then our water supply?
Amidst all this there's been a lot of talk about real news and fake news. It boils down to this the mainstream media has lost there credibility with many people because some people aren't stupid and they can see that your attempting to pull the wool over there eyes. So they have turned to alternative media outlets to get there news. It is the rule of the universe that all those who abuse there power will undoubtedly lose it and thats whats happening. For example months into this dakota pipeline conflict I didnt hear anything about it from any major media source. I first heard about on an alternative radio show called democracy now. I completely astounded that this could happen in modern times and no one was reporting it.
Now no matter where you get your news and who you talk to dont take anybodies word as the gospel truth. Listen then do your own dam research then you'll find out who you can trust. But some people are just going to believe what ever want to believe no matter how obsurd it is because it's easier for them. Thats why I hate conversating with religious people because there the most close minded people on the planet. Me I have no agenda and no political affiliations even thou Im starting to Lean libertarian. I just want the world to be a better place for my nieces and nephews and become a place that I would even consider bringing kids in to. But feel free fact check anything that I write
