In this entry I want to talk about expression and why I think that it is important. But first I wanted to give a status update of where I am at since my last post. The 2 songs I said I was going to record are done and I also bounced them down already to take in the lab for mixing and mastering. I think the songs came out good 1 of them I might film a video to I havent decided. I like to record at home in my leisure then take the trax in and let the engineer perfect the sound quality. So I did book studio time for this week and i'll take those two songs along with about ten more that I already done and finalize as much material as can in this session. I've been for fortunate to work with some pretty talented people in this department. Its been a phenomenal experience express myself then share that with people from across globe.
Which brings me to the topic at hand. Thou I was never a huge NWA fan but I do think one of the more important records that they made was one called express yourself. I believe that it important for everybody to a creative outlet to express themselves. For lots people life can be stressful and even traumatic. I could writes pages on the negative health effects of stress hormones but the point is ideally you want to find some sort of therapeutic activity to relive yourself. Even if your life is all sunshine its still healthy to exercise that portion of your brain. Matter of fact playing a musical instrument is one of the only ambidextrous activities that I can think of in which you are accessing both your left logical and your right creative brain at the same time at a high rate. Theoretically this should cause the connection of many more neurotransmitters within your brain. The healthier you are mentally and physically and the more clarity of thought that you have. The more likely it will be that you will attain your aspirations what ever they might be. Never have any self doubt perception is reality.
While everybody expresses themselves in different ways whatever your platform or concept is be original its more interesting. If you feel like there no one for to open up to. Go see a counselor its a great experience. Don't depend on social media for this kind of human interaction because while social media sites has some great applications it is not good form of genuine communication. It gives to many people a platform to hide behind. There's a lot more that I can say on this subject and I will at a later time Im going to sleep have a good weekend I'll be in the lab
