Hey wsup everybody near and far. As always, I hope life has been treating well. As for myself I had been doing well this previous week was actually a very incredible time for me. I had all these ideas and concepts in my head and a bunch of recent adventures that I wanted to write about, but such is life there will be up and downs smiles and frowns. You’ve probably already guessed how this story ends so this how it begins. This is example of one the best days of your life immediately followed by one of the worst. Which I’ve noticed happens to people in general when they hit certain pivotal sections in their lives. I was on the road working out on two days run to Fresno. The drive out there wasn’t bad I got an early start. Health wise I felt good. The trouble starts when I arrived. Starting from the first one none of my deliveries went smooth. Before I knew it I has behind on my schedule. On top of that I handed an extra pickup and delivery because somebody else messed up so lucky me I get to fix it. But you know whatever it’s not like I haven’t had a bad before you grind it out move on the next day. So it’s Thursday late in the afternoon I’m on my second to last stop. The guy opens the door then proceeds to tell me leave everything outside because they are quarantining because someone in the household is infected. This may have been just a coincidence but as soon as he mentioned that I felt my health start to decline. It was a long difficult day but no matter what you do everybody has a bad day from time to time. Actually, at this job most of my days have been really great like way more fun then you should be allowed to have at work. That was something I planned on writing about on this past weekend. So I get back to my hotel pretty late around 7 but don’t I feel that bad. I check in take my shower strike out down the street to grab some food and call it a night.
When I wake up it’s Friday morning, I’m really achy moving kind of slow. Like most Fridays I’m already what I am going to do when I get home and what I am going to do Saturday. I remember thinking man if I feel like this Saturday, I won’t make it in to the gym. As I go about my day as the temperature goes up my health and energy are quickly declining. By 10 am Friday I literally couldn’t even move. I had no energy severe fever chills body ache and headache. All I could do was pull over to the side of the road and lay there in a very uncomfortable position for almost 2 hours. One of the reasons I’m explaining this is because I don’t get sick often and I considered myself immune to this virus. Most of the other times when I suspected I had it the symptoms were never something that I felt like couldn’t deal with. This time it completely took me off the shelve for a week. I have never gotten this set of symptoms and the symptoms I usually get I didn’t get at all. Quite peculiar timing for this to be happening to me. The worse part of the ordeal was the drive back. Four hours from Fresno then I still have to drive myself home from work. It was pure hell 5 hours of agony and pain. It definitely was one hardest experiences of my life as far prolonged suffering goes. All I could think about was I can’t wait fall in my bed. When I finally did make to my bed, I collapsed into it I didn’t turn off any lights or close the door. I just laid there for 5 hours. I took a rapid test Saturday it confirmed what I already knew I was positive for covid-19. Since then I haven’t left the house in a week. I’m much better than I was Friday but the one symptom that linger is I’m still becoming light headed when I’ve been up for a while, but I believe that comes from me not drinking enough water. So, I’m somewhat disoriented from this week like I said I don’t get sick that often. But I’m sure I’ll be fine in a few days. It’s just one of those things a lot of us will have to go through and seems as if it was my turn. So just give me some time to get my train of thought back together and I’ll get back to you soon. This is a reminder this virus is still out there and continues to mutate so take precautions and stay healthily.
